Membership from LL2525, Fargo, ND ratified contract changes including the adoption of the IAM National Pension Plan.  Although the changes included a
contract extension to October 31, 2006, the changes were good for the people. Increases to Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Safety Shoe Contribution. A big item which the
company backed off was a proposed increase to health insurance contribution. They wanted up to 50%. The committee refused to accept their offer and was finally withdrawn. The pension contribution of $.50 per hour starts 1 Feb, 2001 and $1.00 on 1 Jan, 2003. The current company pension play will be frozen at $22.50 per month per year of service on January 31, 2002.
